Dr. Bruce C. MacKinnon has been in practice in Westerly since 1975. Raised near Boston, he graduated from Middlebury College and the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. After a year of internship at Westchester County Hospital, he practiced for 2 years in New York City before moving to Stonington, CT and setting up his practice in Westerly. Regular continuing education courses and a keen interest in new technology and practice methods enables him to continue to provide excellent, state-of-the-art dentistry. He is a member of the Rhode Island Dental Association and the American Dental Association. When he's not practicing dentistry, Dr. MacKinnon is a seasoned sailor, skier and mountain biker.

Dr. Brett L. Bruno joined Dr. MacKinnon in 1997 after dental school and an internship at Hartford Hospital. A native of Westerly, Dr. Bruno graduated from Fordham University and the SUNY at Stonybrook Dental School. Dr. Bruno brings not only a youthful enthusiasm to the practice, but knowledge of the latest in dental technique and materials. Dr. Bruno was a patient of Dr. MacKinnon's during his high school and college years. He is a member of the Rhode Island Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Dr. Bruno is an accomplished beach volley ball player, snow boarder, wake boarder and mountain biker. In his spare time he fishes.

Our Staff
A truly wonderful asset of Beachcrest Dental is our excellent staff. Five skilled and experienced hygienists help patients gain and maintain good oral health habits. We have three highly skilled chair side assistants who are here to help make your dental visit as enjoyable as possible. The front desk has two capable and helpful assistants who will help you with appointments, fees and insurance. They are the ones who answer the phone when you call. And we all look forward to meeting you! Our office manager is always available to help you with payment arrangements and billing questions.
